Codex

Not a simple question. But it helps to settle a few points beforehand. A quick check-up will give you a sense of it:

YES for projects …

  • whose final budget is still open
  • that are still taking shape
  • that are unripe or not yet thought through
  • that need fast, prototypical results
  • that need adjusting while they run
  • that should also be looked at from an organisational development angle
  • that call for a high degree of flexibility
  • that might even work without digital tools.

NO for projects …

  • whose benefit is unclear to you and to me
  • that you are not convinced by yourself
  • that deceive users or deliberately leave them in the dark
  • that advertise with unverifiable claims dressed up as science
  • by or for actors known for inhumane or toxic practices
  • that treat people or animals as goods
  • that are suspected of creating dependencies in people
  • that use technologies consuming a disproportionate amount of resources.
